Babe Creative is a full-service digital media agency that helps businesses perform at their best, and reach their full potential. Founded in 2018 by Kyla Nobrega, Kyla noticed there was a fundamental gap in the digital world: a lack of thoughtfully made content made to merge communities together in a meaningful way. With this knowledge, Kyla aligned her agency with dynamic and coveted brands that focus on empowerment, individuality and sustainability to strategically craft aesthetic, elevated content. Babe Creative’s goal is to help clients create a captivating experience that engages and connects with audiences, and creates meaningful communities for businesses across all digital platforms.
Early Riser first connected with Babe Creative while collaborating on a mutual client project–Babe was the creative agency for Permission while Early Riser developed the website. Babe was undergoing a design rebrand, and was in need of a website revamp, as their current website was sparse, featuring no client work and without a clear description of what they did as an agency. With extensive original content from client photoshoots, and a few admired brand websites as inspiration, Early Riser began creating what would become the new and improved Babe Creative website. The goals of the new website would be to tell their story, introduce the team, and showcase their client work.
A moodboard and mockups were created to visualize the project before building, as well as mapping out the user journey so the website flowed and prioritized user experience. Using Squarespace 7.1 dynamic sections, Early Riser achieved the look of a premium template, without the associated price tag and tradeoffs of large image files, and poor SEO capabilities. Using custom code Early Riser created free-flowing, organic elements which captured the edgy yet soft branding of the agency. 7 colourful yet subdued pages were built, including: Homepage, About, Project Gallery, Project Page, Services, Creators, and Contact-optimized for all screen sizes, including mobile. Reusable sections like testimonials, team members, and client logos were built with flexibility in mind, and were also easy to update as the team continued to grow and have more work to showcase. Finally, Early Riser supplied launch support as well as training videos, teaching the team how to make future updates to keep the website current and up to date.
