Nu Beauty develops Canadian made, organic, and cruelty free formulas that actually work. Not just another skincare brand, Nu Beauty can be used for any skin type. Nu Beauty honours confidence and celebrates self care, while providing resources to practice self love, and to feel beautiful in bare skin.
Based on the recommendation from a previous Early Riser client, Babe Creative, Nu Beauty connected for their own project. Preparing to introduce their newest product, Nu Beauty was in the midst of a rebrand while shooting new product photography. Emily, founder of Nu Beauty and with a background in marketing, built the first version of the website, looked to the experience and expertise of Early Riser to elevate the site and maximize its potential.
Early Riser conducted a website audit in order to bring to light areas of opportunity with the first version of the website. After completing the audit as well as a strategy questionnaire, Early Riser created recommendations for improvement and optimization and, together with Emily, made a divide and conquer strategy to get the best results within the project restraints. Working from the current theme, Early Riser customized the website with the new branding, including colours and typography throughout. 6 primary pages were created (Home, Collections, Product, Blog Gallery, Blog Article, About), with custom tweaks in the code to make it look more unique and stand out from a regular template. Finally, Early Riser made recommendations for SEO best practices and image optimization, so Emily could continue to improve and adjust the website to scale appropriately as the business continues to grow.
